Message from the Owner

We have lived in the same place in the Cotswolds since 1979. In the 'eighties we let our courtyard cottage to holidaymakers from home and abroad, using the pre-internet methods of ads in 'the Lady' and an agent. Then as the job of rearing a brood of four took over we stopped doing this for some years and in 2005 completely renovated the cottage and started again with the magic of the internet. Since then we have been welcoming visitors from all over the world. I also let our own holiday home in Dublin for a limited number of weeks per year and juggle my visits there between my change overs in the cottage here. The cottage and the apartment are entirely managed, maintained and cleaned by us. I like the direct contact that having my own website gives me, I like that my guests are not paying 'service fees' to some big corporation and most of all I like making sure that our cottage and apartment will be exactly what our guests are looking for, and if it is not, I tell them. Instant booking is not for me! I have a facebook page for the cottage and I occasionally post about Dublin on there too. I blog (infrequently) on my website.
